Blended Scotch Whisky - Scottish Leader
Smooth, perfectly balanced and extremely consistent - a fine blended whisky is a work of art.
And that art is down to the skill of the Master Blender. This person's role is to marry single malt and single grain whiskies to create a unique spirit, and it's not for the faint of heart (or dull of palate).
Some people describe the Master Blender's role as similar to conducting an orchestra. Every musician must be unique and brilliant in their own right but someone has to make sure the individual players harmonise.
The Ross Brothers founded Scottish Leader in the 1800s.
And ever since, we've been careful not to put style over substance. It's this single-minded dedication to quality which has put us in the top five blended whiskies in many international markets.
However, we wanted to spread the word even further. So we asked a team of designers, artists, illustrators and photographers to create a brand new pack for Scottish Leader. Nine months later, and our whisky now looks as good as it drinks. We only hope you'll agree.

NOSE Warm malty aroma with caramel toffee and roasted nuts. Honey sweet with hints of dried herbs and some light citrusy notes.
PALATE Initially crisp and refreshing developing to a creamy, malty mouthfeel. A nice balance of oak and nut flavours.
FINISH A smooth finish with more nuts and light spices.
